Do you really need a lunch date if your own company is the best one to keep? Nah nah I’m not a loner by any means. I love interacting with people. But last Friday I had an afternoon movie date with a friend of mine, who was to meet at the exact time the movie started. Guess the movie guyssss ? DEADPOOL 2 , that one completely knocked my socks off! What a movie Ryan Reynolds !
While at office in the morning of that day all I could think about was Presidente. Margarita. You do know about Presidente right ? It’s a hand shaken Margarita made with Tequila Gold, Cointreau and Brandy.

And the award-winning cocktail.
As I couldn’t contain my craving , (you can’t drink all day, if you don’t start in the morning) (thanks Drake) I decided to go on a lunch date with me, myself and I (another song G-eazy) ! I tried convincing myself on various pretexts regarding why I should courage up and eat by myself no matter the number of people staring at me, some of them being that I won’t have to do small talk or pretend to enjoy someone’s company or be judged at while clicking selfies or foodfies . You get my point. And I was convinced.
So off I went. I ordered My Presidente and some Caribbean Salad with Grilled Chicken only because I was running short of time. Otherwise I would have eaten some Ranchero Chicken Tacos and Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas . Reminds me I have archived so many food photos from chilis which I will post in the section of food photography soon.

By the end of my meal, I was happy and well fed. All and all it was an experience of its own. Even though I know a lot of people who have been there and done that. But for those looking for company , don’t.
Go out on a date with yourself. Get to know yourself better
